I began to paint with oils at the age of 14 years
and this provides the perfect setting and the “canvas”
to invent, create and produce images that combine
painting and photography.

Photography means drawing with light,
not just images, as I like to say …
but stories with open end
(which require the viewer’s complicity)
on topics or concepts characterized
by uncommon people with their lives
and their thoughts made visible.

This rich and exciting collision of circumstances
results in photos as a final product.
